Music Workshop Structure

• Facilitator led

• Run time: 2-hours, but can be adapted to suit class scheduling. Note this excludes the Student Studio Sessions.

• Delivered on site.

• Engagement with Heads of Music and staff prior to the Workshops to ascertain any specific topics they may wish to cover in more detail (under the broader module headings) eg. how they may pertain to an up coming assignment.

• Workshops are interactive – practical activities are provided to encourage engagement., learning and facilitate and open dialogue to confirm their understanding of the material being presented eg

  • Critical listening exercises with student feedback sought

  • Create alternate arrangements/remix from STEMS of original music presented.

• Facilitator brings their own computer, audio interface, instruments etc for presentations -  DAW production and mix sessions. 

• AV is required from the school (TV/Projector, PA/Studio Monitors)
